Reminiscences

By Suvreenda Sood

In the winter, wind chimes in rhythm

A soliloquy of somber sensations wither

Of silent breeze or above rapids mid meadows

The dance they seized and the dance that mellowed.

Winter Winds amidst forest vines

Agape, windows, the dew, the snow its signs

Blossom a hope, a yearn of spring

A silence cloudless, a recurred sing.

The windows shut, the stillness instills

The chimes, tranquil, gaze at the falling fractals

No song, no sound, yet a serene quadrille

Inside hollow, awe the frosted carousel.

The song of the Chimes, the breeze of the wind

The harsh gale, a backdrop of the snowflake's spring.
