Relinquish

By Deeshita Ghoshal

I would not mind a devil's eye on me,

If it means I get to have you eternally.

I would burn for you in the depths of hell,

If it means I get to be with you when you fell.

I would sell my soul for whatever it's worth,

If it means I get to fulfil your heart's dearth.

I would let my breath vaporize in the air,

And let my body grow cold,

Only if it means I get to warm yours,

And feel your heart intertwined with mine,

In a heavenly hold.
