Religion.
By Ruhika Sethi
A Tale this is of heaven itself,
Where an incessant laugh echoes,
Only a single soul was beyond the realm,
And the rest in depths of it.
Before this division each was asked,
Of what they did in life,
Except an individual all asserted,
We were all for you,
Devoted, fallen, in your beliefs, in your path;
Oh the divine- we were all for you
Killed who were not with thou,
The divinity roared- roared in anger,
The clouds cried- cried in sorrow,
The fires in hell burnt with flare,
For the people were still unaware.
Amongst the crowd an individual soul,
Was standing hushed, With a pounding heart,
When questioned it was- of what it did,
It replied with a heavy heart,
I was an atheist.
The path to hell it expected,
But was embraced by the divine,
"Atleast thou didn't kill humanity,
Under my name" said the almighty,
And took it to heaven.
Today 28 men are left lying,
Credits to those who are blinded.
Blinded in the name of evils,
Or what they like to call,
"Religion."

Wow what an amazing testament to the resentment against this incident. Lovely work
Wow. Just wow. This poem is deeply moving. Makes us realise the lasting damage, of non-tolerance of other religions, on our country.
