Rejection

I plunge in,

Risk assessed, Doom guessed

Bets are off,

All or nothing, all or nothing

I take a swipe, wet beads wiped

Stomach lurching, nausea impending

Peep at my watch, tick tock

Drone strike, Shell shock,

Boom! I am facing rejection

Two flaming wings, my earrings

Turn me red, red

Eyes to the ground,

Sweat and tears mingling

Earth eat me, sky suck me,

water I beseech thee

Vanish me, vanish me

Vanquish me
