Regrets

Updated: Jul 12, 2025

I could not regret loving you

I never can

But sometimes I wonder

If I hadn’t entered

Your life as a dementor

Would you have been better?

Would you have been worse?

Tell me, tell me my love

Would you have been a stronger force?

Better than what you are with me

With a harder shell and a superior degree

Am I the one holdin you back

Am I the one making you lack

Am I not letting you shine?

Am I the evil god had defined?

I don’t want to hurt you my love

And if that means I have to go

I won’t be blue

And I won’t show you

How much it’s hurting me

To stay away from you

I won’t be happy

I won’t be, it’s true

But if it’s for you

I’ll do anything, anything for you
