Regret

I ran away

Night was too dark

Memories were too sharp

                                             Every event was

                                             A melody of memory

                                             Hurting like a fresh wound

Night was eventfull

Pain was deep

                                           Still remember

                                           The silent tears

                                           And violent roar

I was breaking

Searching for a dream

That will alter

This reality to nightmare

                                        Half alive, half breathing

                                        Like a coward

                                        I was searching

                                        For a hidding place

While every hidding place

Was breaking

Just like me

                                      Fragile hearts

                                      When reality echoed loud

                                      Turned silent, stiff

It was chilly

Night changed

But the dream didn’t

                                     I escaped

                                     While the brightness

                                     Was crying

Every prayer has stopped

Each moment was silent

                                    Last memory of the day

                                    It’s no longer a nightmare

                                    It’s the horror of reality

                                    In broad daylight

Each heart was humming

For the vibration to stop

Reality stood determinant

Not to let any hope smirk

                                   Challenge of present

                                   To stop then and there

                                   Past was flood

                                   Future will be void

Present stood determinant

Like the memory of night.
