Recognition

Updated: Oct 3, 2024

Recognition comes in the most unexpected of times;

The man that runs down the alley to save his little child from falling in its attempt to walk the  very first steps, or

The same man who has been greyed by time to life’s winter and fails to recognize his son and  their cherished, bitter and different memories together,

Does time give them ample recognition timely?

The mother who spends sleepless nights beside her ailing offspring doing her bits till Lady of  Cure smiles one morning,

The boy that works and overworks to earn a few bucks more and attempts to be a worthy  single father,

The wife who despite endless quarrels and varied ideologies, still waits for her husband to  return and dine with her, wanting each day to be treated like a queen but fails,

The fresher who stood the test of multiple failures and dedicates his toil to a small appraisal  from his Head

He might happen to be the same man whose old father fails to 'Recognise' him and this agony  has surpassed all the wealth he amassed.

The cycle continues in the intricacies of our mundane.

Just like the classic shores that passionately kiss the impatient horizons for a brighter  tomorrow, so do the uncanny rules of recognition.

Maybe the countrymen, the king, and the pauper did not recognize your deeds when your  worthy eyes and lonely heart so much craved for it.

But one day the worth shall manifest most impressively just like the flower that blooms  fullest after a stormy dark rain!
