I weep as I write

I feel the pain as I cry

My heart feels light

As I realise my suffering and sigh.

Focusing on the pain

Torments me not

It gives me hope to gain

The lost happiness which once was.

I let the pain consume my soul

I vanished and went deep into a hole

But now is the time that I nourish it

With thought-vitamins that help to flourish it.

I think of my soul

And its real strength and light

It does not deserve despair

It is meant to soar high and fly.

People perish a lot

They wither and lose all the glitter

Alas, this is not how it has to be

You're meant to seek happiness and peace.
