Reading Builds My Brain

Books are like nutrition and energy that makes my brain smart. Like I need energy from food, I need books that there is a magical power to make my brain smart. That's why reading is very important to our brains.

You know that you can go on journeys without going outside of your room. That's by reading books. For example, we can use Alice in wonderland. I could imagine the whole Alice was in. I thought, I was actually in the forest that Alice was in. Do you know that imagination can help our brain grow smarter. If we use our small imagination, our brain is getting more and more creative.

Yesterday, I read a book about a mermaid and there was a new word that I didn't know. It was called " melodious." I check the meaning out. Its meaning was " singing in a sweet voice." Now I'm using that word in my essays and stories. Then, I have been finding more and more new words from my books. It helps me a lot.

Not only did I find new words, but I also improved my spelling and grammar by reading. Now I can write long words without making any spelling errors. It makes my brain more confident and smarter.

Our teacher said reading makes us smarter and more intelligent. One day I read ten minutes. Another, I read twenty minutes. Today, I read thirty minutes. Tomorrow forty. I think today a reader is tomorrow a leader. So, I keep on reading because I want to be a leader and have a smart brain. So, my dear friends, let's all be leaders read books to make our brain smarter.
