Trying to sleep, is trying to wake; Dreams of the night, and sometimes day. Beautiful they be, or damned sometimes, The night tells all, for morning to surmise.

Barely remembered is what went by, Perhaps for another day, it is kept aside. Yet I want to know, know for sure, The night’s little chapter, poison or cure.
