Ramblings of a Lost Lover

I’ve lost my way to you

Should I take a right or a left?

What shall I do at the stop sign?

There’s a bend in the road

It’s sharp and I’m confused

Do I carry on straight?

Or shall I turn

At the fork that goes left? 

Regrets distract me

Wistfulness clouds my vision

Love that I lost saddens me

I wonder if I will ever get it right

There’s much I forget

Yet I remember some useless facts

That makes no sense today

I search for love not knowing how

I guess I’m tired of eating alone

Watching movies lying on my rug

Wondering if these romantic stories

Do come true

Nothing interests me

Or gives me hope

Happiness needs company

Love is just so necessary

I wish I find you

The feeling of home

Heart’s empty

My days too

Before the lights fade out

I hope one of them leads me to you

My lost love.
