Raindrop

I was inside a raindrop..

I sat on the very top..

I crawled towards its bottom, the wider end..

For a larger space, for a greater view..

I felt cold on the outside but safe on the inside..

I could see birds, I could see the sky,

But it was all changing fast,

Gravity is a monster that won’t let me remain..

It pulled me down, along with my home,

Rapidly, my view started changing,

I saw lighthouses and windmills..

I saw rooftops and windowsills..

I saw animals and people..

I saw ambulances and temples..

I finally hit the ground, my home crashed, the water splashed, before I knew..

I began to evaporate like the aroma of mother earth!
