Rafflesia

Swindled within the pearls of rafflesia,

I study the art of tenderness,

For I lack the comely nature.

The heavy layers protect me from the frost,

Showing me the character of warmth.

The flower allows me to breathe,

Showing me how much one can offer.

It holds onto me for as long as I prefer,

Showing me the art of patience.

Its nature is of mine,

While I have forgotten it all, the flower reminds me it's

gone.
