I was never jealous but I am now,

I’m jealous of every single breeze

That comes by your way.

I’m jealous of every single furry friend that

Gets to be pampered by you.

I’ve never longed for anything until now,

I long every single laughter that escapes

Your lips without my presence.

I long for every single glance cast by you,

Each one more vibrant than the last.

It’s not fair, it’s not fair for you to have that look,

The look where you awe the world with admiration;

It’s only fair for me to look at you that way.

Even then you choose to admire the world,

In a way no one could ever imagine of.

Just like a feather in freefall,

The lightest of touch on the earth’s hard surface.

You fell into my world with the softest blow

It’s not fair. Soft, it was but left me breathless.

It’s not fair, I’m telling you….

How is it fair for someone to be so radiant,

So achingly elegant, it feels forbidden.
