By the tracks, the children play, In the golden light of day. A train approaches, loud and grand, With whistles blowing, it takes command.

Side by side, they start to run, Feet pounding, hearts full of fun. Laughter echoes, pure and bright, In this race, they find delight.

The train chugs on, a mighty beast, But the children’s joy will never cease. With every stride, they push ahead, In this playful race, no fear or dread.

Their legs move fast, their spirits high, Chasing dreams beneath the sky. The train’s great power, they defy, With every step, they reach for the sky.

Faces flushed, with smiles so wide, In this moment, they take pride .The train and children, side by side, In this race, their worlds collide.

The wind rushes past, a gentle breeze, Through fields of green and towering trees. Their laughter mingles with the sound, Of the train’s wheels turning round.

As the train begins to pull away, The children cheer, they’ve had their play. In their hearts, a memory stays, Of racing trains on sunny days.

With breathless joy, they slow their pace, A sense of wonder on each face. For in this race, they found their place, A moment’s magic, a sweet embrace.

The train moves on, its journey long, But the children’s hearts are filled with song. For in that race, they felt so strong, A bond of joy, forever strong.

And as the sun begins to set,

They’ll not forget, they’ll not regret.

For in that race, they found their zest,

A simple game, a life’s bequest.
