Quiet moments
Quiet moments alone
Thinking of us
Thinking of our moments
Thinking of how safe and secure I felt with you
I'm your arms
The way you held me when I cried
The way you lifted me when all I could do was fall down
Break down in pieces that you picked up and shaped me into someone I only am around you Some side of me reserved for you in moments I want to feel again
Moments when our eyes met and you just smiled and made me into the girl I wish I was everyday Waiting for that boy to come back and piece me together
for now I'm broken pieces breaking down day by day hoping you come to piece me back together Waiting for that message
Waiting to be your girl again
Because that is the thing I long for
You to come back and stay
Maybe I'll never be yours again
Maybe I'll break enough to never be pieces together again
Maybe you'll come back
Maybe you'll realise that we are a match waiting to be sparked again
Even though all matches burn out
We might be lit forever
I left pieces of me with you
Hoping you'll pick them up and come and just piece me together
You may like someone else
But I know I'll never feel that again
Knowing no one will be able to make me as happy as you
Maybe that's what love is
Giving you up knowing I'll never be the same
Knowing you'll only look at me and never be close enough to hold me again And maybe if we got sparked again
I'll stay happy
Stay yours
Stay long enough to reach out of this hole I'm forever in without you
My quiet moments are spent on you
You are my thoughts
My longing
My inevitable
My puzzle piece
My alone moments
My quiet hearts forever longing
My quiet moments.
