O my heart, why

You always want something I don't have

Something I can’t ever get

Filling yourself with envy, for those who have it

O my heart, why

Your thirst is never quenched

Everything you drink becomes shoddy for you

Happiness is transient, Regret is perpetual

Why do you want me to be like someone else

Why do you see luck with everyone except yourself

Everyone has something to cherish, but you got nothing

O my heart, why?

What you seek, what you want is a mystery

Your greed steals my peace

Or it is just me blaming you for my undoing

O my Lord,answer me
