Purest of them all

The sun eclipses due to its inability to outshine your

Everlasting beauty. Carved from the wings of angels,

Your beauty sustains flight. I have felt the shortcomings of

Life but in your beauty, I have found peace.

I don’t mind being dented by you, because it is expressed

As a dimple in my smile, an enviable feature. A memory taken

From the mirror of retrospect brings me much joy, a solid

Kiss melted away by passing days. Although I offer a fourth hand

To time’s watch by wearing it, I simply have no say. When we are

Together we are blind to all else that moves. We close our eyes

To embrace a moment which we both can see.
