Preface

It all seemed so effortless, so quick, so easy, so fun

But why didn't you tell me it wasn't going to stay that way in the long run?

Why did I fail after all that? Did my presence even matter?

Because now I can't even think straight, my mind is in shatters.

You assured me I'll overcome all the challenges, or did you?

You started with 'I know you will' but will you love me only if the former's true?

Why are you looking at me with that look of disappointment in your eyes?

Do you think I shattered your expectations? Do you think all I say are lies?

Was it necessary to say that I am a tormenting burden- A mere creep?

Mind sinking, heavy breathing; wouldn't care to jump off a slope that's steep

Why do you lay your expectations, your thoughts, your actions on me?

Did you really want my confidence, my happiness, myself to flee?

Why aren't you comforting me staying by my side?

I can't do this well anymore, heaven knows that I have tried

Did my spark get sucked in that endless void of darkness?

Nature's not as beautiful anymore while I try to confront my madness.

People are too fed up, too busy

 of performing their own tasks only Today, they have no time to have fun Maybe they'd be better off forlorn and lonely. 

Say, why can't me just simply discuss

 about Issues which can't be solved, on so you thought

 Maybe because every single time you look at them

 You start recalling your arguments, everytime you fought.

 Oh! You know, she won't understand! Oh! You know, they will think I'm weird! Venting to AI bots you find yourself crying

 for as to share with your beloved, you never cared

 Looking in the mirror, she wished she was skinnier

 while he wished to gain more muscles, isn't it ironic?

 She stopped eating and he wouldn't, both looked in the mirror

Eyes filled with tears, with their behaviour psychotic

Same mind, Same heartbeat, Same problems, same reactions 

Still each will claim they're misunderstood and lonely 

Broken, defeated, depressed, miserable and desolate

You are and will never be the one and only.
