Predator

Updated: Jul 17

By Shreshtha Srivastava

You, the thief of light and trust,

With heart of stone and soul unjust,

Your shadow stains the brightest days,

In shame and cowardice you lay.

A predator in human guise,

With every wrongful act, your spirit dies,

But know, your deeds will face the light,

For justice burns against the night.

No more shall silence cloak your crime,

The world will rise and mark the time,

Your name, a curse, will fade away

In truth your darkness has no sway.
