Power Of Silence

Tongue set for an outbreak

Mind ready to be set ablaze

Eyes with utmost confidence

Yet something pushed me back

Just to wait for the clock to tick

Silence being an answer itself

More impressive than speech

Sometimes the loudest cry

Yet tearless is what it seems

The quieter you become

The more you can hear

Often said words have power to heal

To heal the wounded thoughts

To bring back lost hopes

To create a magical moment

At the same time brings greatest despair
