Pour Into My Cup Some Venom

Updated: Aug 28, 2025

Like sour cream, you came

Into my life.

I like the sour more than sweet.

We had a thing for each other.

Mountains and valleys, we trekked.

Into the chaos is where we wept,

Together as one, supporting each other.

But then comes another,

Sweeping me off my feet.

I let him kiss me,

Entering our bedroom door.

In our bedroom we did it,

While you were at work and I was

There, available for another.

I never let it show.

Now I left the

Illicit relationship I had,

But he has gone crazy,

Blackmailing me to show you

Pictures of the crazy

Things we did,

Crazy on the bed,

Stripped naked.

There are calls incoming.

I changed numbers, telling you

It’s just for connectivity,

To get rid of him.

Calls still kept coming.

I was tortured and distraught,

And I couldn’t even mention this to you,

My first love.

I let another man enter.

I didn’t know what I was doing.

I know it is condescending.

I tried to quit the extra,

But he became venomous.

I feel poisoned now.

I can’t hide it any longer.

I will tell you sooner than later.

But today I’ll go back to him,

To talk to him,

To stop the blackmailing.

Maybe I will get closer to him,

For just one night and then

Again, come back to you,

Or maybe leave you

Both,

To taste the even finer things in life.

I venture.
