Plummet

Like a twig on stream, sure to plummet

It is the way we run and run and we disappear

We love as if it were for eternal, ignorant

We take as if it will all belong to us, foolish

Our graves are dug with nails while we dally

In conversation of love and love and love

Until the sun dries our traces and we are gone

Into peace, plugging silence underwater

And stranded into tranquility with no rushing time

No way to return from the fall but again

We flee not from anyone but the mind

In ourselves, that speaks against.

Sets of bobbing sails, delayed by wind and will

Shimmering light surprises my sorrow

A hope never lets me go, and I stare

At the hovering clouds far and wide

Over the lining horizon that seems to divide

Nothing but time from eternity,

We are all on the same path to plummet.
