PLANET EARTH

If Earth could talk, what would it say?

Does it shake it’s head, every single day?

Does it have dreams and fears?

And hopes and tears?

Does it still pray?

I hope man and nature can live side by side,

Instead of having this great divide.

Earth is a treasure to be shared,

Sustainably used, loved and cared.

Let the ecosystem guide.

Modern man can’t live with nature is one of my fears,

But native tribes have done so, for many years.

I dream that man can care for nature again one day,

Reduce, relearn, reverse is the only way.

We need to stop Earth’s tears.

Reduce greenhouse gases from fossil fuels,

Help stop plundering Earth’s great jewels,

Fauna and flora in a fight with man,

Man destroying nature, without a plan.

We must stop these dangerous duels.

With rising temperatures, it’s not surprising,

Glaciers are melting, with sea levels rising.

Smog, acidic rain and daily haze,

Is the tipping point as short as days?

Let biodiversity start to sing.

Together we can dream and make it true,

We have the knowledge to see it through,

Stop extinction and over-population,

Stop habitat destruction and deforestation.

Make Earth like new.

To save mankind, what’s it worth?

Can we return the world it’s mirth?

So Nature and Man are in balance once more,

Of course we can, and we MUST restore.

Save Nature, Save Man, Save Earth.
