Alarm beeps. It's 7 am. He snoozed and continued sleeping. Again the alarm beeps. It's 7:10 am. With an irritating face he stopped the alarm and took the phone. He opened Facebook then Instagram then WhatsApp, so and so. Hey, it's 8.10!! He wakes up from his bed and runs hurriedly to the bathroom. Put on the dress, correct the tie, comb the hair and check the time, It's 9:05! He ran downstairs, started the bike and went off without breakfast. A day starts from here. Tiredly returning from the office, he just lay on his bed without even changing the dress. His eyes slowly close, and yes he falls asleep. Hey there is a notification!! He opened his eyes and then checked out what it was. His friend added a photo, and he hurriedly checked what it was! It's a save the date photo of his friend. He texted 'congrats bro!!’. Friend replied 'thanks macha!' how are you?'. He texted back 'Perfect OK!!' with a laughing smile. For some reason he became sad and worried. Idea!! He posted a photo of himself laughing on Instagram with the caption 'life is better when you are laughing'. Instantly he got a like. He became happy. Hey there is another like, then another and another. Instant happiness!!

Next day. Alarm beeps. It's 7 am. He snoozed. Again the alarm beeps. It's 7:10 am. With an irritating face he stopped the alarm, took the phone and checked out what's new on social media. His friends are now in goa! 'None of them won't tell me', he thought. His ex-girlfriend's (who broke up with him 6 months ago) marriage was announced!! Her fiancé is a doctor!! He became disturbed. 'It's my fault!!' he thought. His colleague bought a new car! He got envious. Hey, it's 8:15!! He woke up and ran to the bathroom. He gets ready and goes to the office. Reaching the office late by 15 minutes and while parking his bike, he noticed his colleague's new car. For some reason he became disturbed.

While having tea at the office canteen he took a selfie and posted it as a story on Instagram, with a caption 'joy in small things'.

Laying on bed at night he checked out the old photos in the gallery with his girlfriend, zooming her photo, he became sad.

Day by day this routine continues and his disappointment has drastically grown upwards. Lost his love by his own mistakes, there is no one to share his problems, but his people on social media has a perfect life, sawing somebody's achievement, sawing somebody on their vacation, sawing somebody have a good body shape, sawing somebody is laughing, sawing girlfriend is enjoying her honeymoon, sawing people are getting married. 'Everybody is happy except him!' he thought. He struggled with his emotions, he compared himself with everybody he saw on social media. The success of others makes him very sad, in short he doesn't have the ideal social media life he seems in it.

Depressed and disappointed, he decided to take a leave for one week and return to his home. He felt relaxed when he reached his home, but his mind was totally disturbed. He never understood what his real problem was until his cousin sister came to visit him. After the casual talk she says that ' it's really boring here!! I think I should move towards your city to do my pg. I know you're enjoying your life there!! Full of friends, lots of trips, nice evenings and fun. I want to live a life like that'. He looked at her with a sympathetic face and said ' no my dear it's not like what you think'. She replied 'no I don't believe you. I saw your photos on Instagram!! I like it. I want that kinda life'. He felt like somebody slapped on his face. Now he realizes the fact that everybody analyses others' lives by seeing their posts, stories and status on social media, the perfect world! No one posts their lows or failure on social media, everybody exposes only their fun part of life and shows it as their life. 'Real life is totally different from social media life' he thought. A notification beeps!! He took his phone and put on do not disturb mode!!
