One should focus on the good, and think less of evil,
Strive not for perfection, but being civil.
Victory shall be yours, if you never stop trying,
And never set limits, based on your present situation.
Tell yourself, ‘I’m happy, in what god has bestowed upon me”.
Acceptance is another word for ‘self-love’, do it frequently.
Skills are certainly beneficial, master them as much as needed.
Chase your ultimate goal, and don’t sweat over things, which are little.
Life is but an exam, it tests you first, and then teaches the lesson,
It gives you a caring family, but rarely to you they listen.
First your intelligence is questioned, then they laugh at your presence,
They enjoy belittling you, and continue being in the state of impudence.
So don’t be shy, for we all are impetuous and naïve in our youth,
Take pride in yourself, you have not prejudiced or hurt anyone.
People may gas light, abuse and even torment you, for your gutts.
But all you have to do is, do justice to what you do best.
It is hard to ignore your critics, for they are the so called ‘wise’,
It is hard to redirect one's emotions, and hold on to your pride.
The more you engage in self- development, and keep away from naysayers,
The more your focus goes towards, things that really matter.
People can walk into your life, who may even teach us a lesson or two,
They can even help us mold, by bringing in new challenges.
But the rule of thumb to welcome success, is to keep treading forward.
Accept that life is beautiful, but believe people are the opposite.
