Peeling Off The Skin

Mend your heart,

it’s warm and beating,

Stitch the insecure threads,

for moments are fleeting.

Transposed between the past and now,

all hell breaks loose,

Affix your halo luminous and misty,

foregone the demons call for a truce.

Blood shone arrogant power,

demise of the cracks it bore,

Pulsing sobs as the fountain,

a gentle murmur yet to explore.

Unzip your skin of light,

flaunt the enveloped tremble within,

You are the seer of the night,

dressed in sonorous spin.
