I whisper pause 

My lips foolishly flutter 

I expect it to stop 

Let me chug down everything 

I won't even stutter

 My eyes painting 

Everything that I see 

In the canvas behind my mind

 Old and free 

I worry all of this will leave me

 And I'll still 

Be on my knees 

So I guess 

I have to moove on

 For the love of god

 Because so did she
