Path Of Sunflowers

A shout out into the void, where the oblivion is inevitable. As we felt the golden flowers with the tip of our fingers, Strolling across the meadow You decorated a path of sunflowers And struck a chord in me that triggered a wave of nostalgia Lifting me up We were two cosmos plunged into the eternal night I wanted to love you beyond the parallel complexing limits of the universe.

To protect that smile To relive it all over again I yearned for you the way the sun yearns to meet the horizon every day But the day you promised you’d come back,

I saw a familiar figure carrying on Slowly turned into a distortion A lost silhouette Putting me in a infinite loop, in a valley of tears, I heard your voice echoing in the wind, with words that tore me each second,

You told me not to fall in love with what I see because “An elixir is only meant to be enjoyed But not to hold on to”.
