Overthink

By Deeshita Ghoshal

Will the whole wide world

Really think bad of you?

If the skies turned gloomy,

And the birds never flew?

As it slowly dawns upon them,

That the once fallen drops of dew,

Dried the grass that quenched for it?

The famous question then,

To be or not to be,

Be answered and queried yet again?

To think and rethink,

And ponder over,

Make your fears a reality fever?

All these thoughts,

As they race through your head -

Millions at a time,

Making you overwhelmed;

Be the pillars of your strength,

Or the end of you at length?
