Outside time

While I was yet woven in my mother’s womb

A thread of you, was woven through me too

Before I was to be and you to be who

Our love story began outside a time loop

Seasons come and go, and my heart singing out a chorale

My fabric incomplete, still waiting your arrival

Then you passed me by, your breath brushed against mine

Our destiny together, begins to intertwine

alas when I seen you, time stood still!

a moment embalmed forever and ever, and until

a circle that travels around with no end in sight

so our love journeys on and takes a soaring flight

now our souls woven together in our new-born baby’s cry

the legacy of our love exists, outside space and time

and when I look into your eyes, a reflection I can see

I exist in you and you exist in me

Seasons come and go but time always will stand still

Just like in an hour glass that never will refill

and when I see you in a place where like angels we shall be

I will remember who you are and you shall know me
