Out of Darkness

Shattering thoughts in my mind

I want to achieve that applauding height

But why I’m just unable to climb

Deeply drowned in the ocean of melancholy

Still fighting unarmed to rise above

Finding peace in doing what the world consider unholy

Giving everything up you ever love

The pursuit of life is very weird and creepy

You sweat to achieve the best but sorrow and agony is all you get

Why wait for someone to make you realise that

Burn the flame up within yourself and light up the whole nest

They say insanity will eat you up

They say your profanity will suck you up

Bewildered mind prancing through the dust

I say I’ll do everything to make my life a dream that’ll never rust.
