Our Starting line

This is our line.

Humanity hangs in the balance,

not to the end of time,

or the beginning of our calm cadence.

We all started somewhere,

No where close to others mastery.

We held our passion near,

close to our hearts and our ancient history.

Where warriors fought.

Three thirteen to a thousand.

Where men believed without a second thought.

We too,stand with conviction and a steady hand.

So yes,

This is our line.

Where men and women were never perfect.

While that is, so certainly…apodict,

Our greatest strength is our desperate resolve.

To stand with honor, to stand with… love.

To learn is our greatest gift.

Falling and getting up, others noticed the shift.

Our determination, to accept we make mistakes,

to inspire others to try.

Despite the pain when we cry.

Our World needs heroes, but where ?

Maybe here…

In our fear filled hearts.

But we're no longer shackled,our fear imparts.

So we stand.

For this is Our line

Our starting line.
