Our Shared Strength

My dear husband, I want you to know,

Ours is a story where love will always grow.

This bond we share is simple and true,

And every day, I am so proud of you.

I see you, whether you let me or not,

Carrying burdens for the life we have sought.

I chose you then and will choose you again,

I will choose you through all joy and pain.

You understand the words I softly say,

And I read your silence in every way.

Let the world misjudge, let it all fade small,

For you are my world, my everything, my all.

Life has not been easy, that much is clear,

Yet together, we have made it here.

We are still learning, how to love even more,

And trust me; our love was worth fighting for.
