Our little broken down Cyber Cafe

We all have stories about how
school life is stale.
Best part about it is
the lunch breaks or the final bell
My friends and I would pitch about
our plans for the weekend.
Eager Saturday mornings would
gather at 9,what a sight.
Would teach us comradery that
school never taught me.
Happy days we get from our
Broken down cyber cafe
It was like an anime series,
Where rivalries and friendships are made
What a sweepstake!
You never know what legend will
be coming through the room
Could be the state's best that
raised the competitive air
Could be the funniest strangers
you never met
Either way its a place where
stories stem from.
Lets brush aside lies, Gaming unites.
We're just not looking in the right places
Comparisons have been made aton
About responsibilies and knives
Would even go as far as to say
it's one of my home
Where I don't feel alone,
need not try to belong.
But the local authorities nitpick the minority,
a product of backward thinking;
They're of the idea it draws drug addicts,
Now all is said and done I ask you this
Are the streets swept clean
And people are stopped from needing?
Still the drug toll of our State
is hell raising.
More awareness needed opposed to
citing the scriptures.
Part of me feels lonely cause of this,
that's why I want to paint this picture.
Only thing they managed to do is
rob alot of childhoods
But I digress, just one of the many
I need to get off my chest
Never wanted to touch politics,
I just want to escape.
But its inevitable it effected me.
And undoubtedly I'm here for the
anti-establishment business
Just demolishing what I love is a
practice in foolishness.
Because our answers
involve raw methods that never worked.
Those days are gone,
I fear this generations
Has been robbed off
Only choice we get is to be
glued to our phones
Every hub covered as Wifi zones
Same time we lack connection
more than ever.
Entitled individuals headbutting
the same circles.
Now that I've grown older
and that's all gone,
I look back and ponder,
we couldn't have lost anything more.
