Her eyes watered, my soul did melt

Like a dying person all the happy memories took a stroll, I felt

And I went num.

She tried to speak but words refused to come

I tried to listen but my ears have gone num.

Worst mistake I made that I gazed into her eyes that moment and saw, the urge to rewrite our destiny

To write what feels right, to write what the heart urges for

I was waiting for her to make a move and she was waiting for me, I guess

I was relived as she leaned in, I put myself forward as well and we kissed,

Ohh, we kissed.

I remember that kiss, that kiss I miss

That kiss destroyed me, that kiss took my ability to speak.

She was trying to get hold of herself and by some reason I was trying to get a hold of her,

To feel the warmth, to feel the magical eclipse in my heart for the last time is all I desired.

I know I couldn't have it all, I just wanted some,

But I couldn't move, her watery eyes had me num.

A strong breeze we both felt, whispering 'it's time'

Time for what? was the question that arose in our mind but sadly we both knew, it's time.

It's time to explore the rest, experience the world and endeavour new quest, on our own.

That drift in our path did hurt,

And I kept gazing in her eyes, slowly fading away in the wonders of the world

I tried to search but couldn't find her,

I tried to call her out but seems she has drifted far wide

And a sudden emptiness rushed through my heart

Realised she gave me my heart back but left a mole

Now I do have a heart but she took my soul.

That last kiss took my soul

Our last kiss took my soul.
