Our Eventide

By Sanjita Banerjee

I dream of you every night,

The way we hold hands and gaze at the starry night.

The warmth of our touches feels like home,

The feeling in my heart is like nothing I have felt before.

The way your eyes shine in the moonlight,

Reminds me of your eternal allure.

With every twilight, I'll fade,

With the only hope that you'll remember me,

Holding my hand in the meadow of your memory;

As my gaze finds the skyline of our eventide.
