Orbs Unlike

I’ll be there staged in fright,

A quiet lotus dark bathed in the light.

By she may be seen, Nay be there,

Though shades of flight passed her hair.

That orb of sight,

That lotus bright are of deep nature but much unlike,

One stem more from resentment,

The other crept on the nerves of existence.

She began her step, like flaunting doves,

But her gaze meant otherwise...there are merely footnotes now.

I be there staged in fright,

A figure dark as dark bathed in the light.

She had a story I was aware,

But there I stay and did not dare.

An echo I felt, I saw, I heard,

Her glint, it passed by me,

Then disappeared.
