Operation Sindoor

By Jyotsna Sinha

  • April twenty - second's sorrowful noon,

 Shook Pahalgam's fair city,nature's boon

Moments before, where laughter filled the air,

But surft the change, a brutal, jarring sound,

  • In valley's deep, where dreams began to weave,

They longed to lose themselves, and just believe

The attacks harsh hand, a devastated blow,

Bade them farewell to all they used to know..

Eyes behold their dear ones end,

Sindoor lost, no way to mend

For countries that sorrow fell..

  • “Just end my life”, a woman's sorrowed plea,

“Go tell your Modi”, the terrorist spoke free,

“See what terror we have wrought, for all to see”,

The pain they dealt, will find a brutal end,

For every vanished sindoor they'll comprehend..

  • The 7th of May, their plans lay in ruins dust,

India's brave sons began, “Operation Sindoor with trust..

Pakistani terrorist’s pride, they broke it all the way

Now for each single tear drop, revenge will have its day..

  • The Indian Army’s roar, now fills the air,

The nation's enemies receive their deadly dare,

“They look at us with malice, within their walls we'll fight,

Through ages we've emerged as victors and today, you'll know our might..
