Opera of Thrill
Woman of the hour,
It is you, who portrays life in words.
You, who puts life in poetry,
the pen in your palm does it all!
How sadness shapes and becomes you!
You turned silence into your greatest instrument,
your words become the voice of you,
how you live on your written words,
how the beauty of madness and melancholy defines you!
Woman of the slow smoke and sadness,
on your coat of teal blue,
you let the rain drench your fancy leather coat until the colour of dark, mystic blue soaks.
How the sky likes to take advantage of you,
never letting the sun run its warmth of kindness on you.
How you are so so pale,
being kept away from the sun.
Even the colour of your shoes, the shade on a withered log in the woods of suicide, looks more alive than you, sweet woman of death!
Lady of the dead,
goddess of the underworld!
Even the grim reaper worships you!
Sad snow spreads and covers your porcelain skin, maggots parade on your sad, frosted cheeks, your eyes, the stillness of the dead sea, your poisoned lips that have turned into a shade of purplish blue,
the bell of the cemetery tolls and rings, and keeps on ringing in your ears!
Even your fingertips are blue, so much so that Hades sets your long, beautiful hair aflame to match his fiery locks of Stygian.
Woman of the silence of the after midnight,
you were born on the night of the eclipse when the moon corroded the Sun,
where the light was consumed and taken over by the wickedness and greed of the darkness,
something more sinister lurked behind!
The swans in the lake tried their best to look for a way home,
but the flower had withered before it could be fed,
and one sad swan was left wandering alone,
circling around his love, the freshly dead,
where the danger of wolves reigned as they chased away what was left of the white light.
From the darkened dawn,
the cries of the sad, single Swan filled the thin air, but its cries like moans to your ears,
its motions sent poignantly beautiful curves shaped like those lines of your breasts,
the fattened wolves howled like lullaby as you fell asleep.
There the ruthlessness of reality soothed and became the very life of you.
In pain do you rise.
In agony do you feel alive.
In vain do you start your instrument,
the opera of such thrill.
