One Thing I Am Really Good At

Eversince I have come across the phrase Jack of all trades, master of none, I’ve found Jack to be the more admirable fellow than any ‘master’. In this day and age, we simply can't be getting away with being master of one trade only. Since I have been mature enough to understand this from a very young age, I have focused on diversifying my talents and as a fall out I haven't been able to be so good at anything that I might self-proclaim my expertise in it. So, I feel safe calling myself good in those aspects which other people call me good at.

I am good at listening to people, praising people or making feel good or better about themselves. I have also been called to be a good writer because I have been ghost-writing letters, especially ones proclaiming love, even before I was myself familiar with the feeling. Friends who have reaped the benefits of my work have showered me with love, albeit of a different kind. I've grown confident about my writing skills ever since then. Honestly speaking, I am good at nothing. But unlike before, I have learnt to feel good about it despite the fact that I have also not been able to become the Jack whom I had always admired and aspired to become.
