One Last Time

Four years have gone, the time has flown by,

Your silent love and memories still make me cry...

The wind whispers in my ears, your name,

The water and the sun are doing the same...

Your thoughts flood my mind and consume my heart,

Your departure has hassled me and ripped me apart...

Your embrace was my protection, your absence has made my world so small,

Your name is my power and my strength which would never let me slip or fall...

May all the obstacles that are standing in my way,

Be extracted with your blessings forever from my life today...

You have gone far far away leaving me behind,

Dad, can you please revisit me one last time?

I am so tired of the harder routine in life, of moving on and letting go,

Of all the things that could have been, was this goodbye the fatal blow?
