One Day - Changes

They never saw my longing

Perhaps one day life will hand them

The same silence

And they will know the weight I carried

If I withhold my trust

Why does it wound their pride

If trust was what they wanted

They’d have never spoken

Against the one now gone

Once love shielded me

No tongue dared raise

Now in it’s absence

They think they r bold

I don’t curse them, I just observe,

The wheel turns, as I preserve.

When night falls, my silence will speak,

Louder than words, profound and unique.
