ONE DAY

By Vinodini Rajan One day I'll forget you. When I'll let you go. When my eyes will be tired, and the spark will not glow! One day you'll forget me,

when you’ve had enough of me, or when you'll find someone you 'll care for,

better than me.

I hope I still find a place in your heart, Looking for love, that probably never was. I know you too have a lot in your mind, I can see the pain, that your eyes hide behind. We were probably never meant to be together, But will you be able to forget the moments, we spent together? I know in time your musings will return, caressing my memories and touching my soul. But I hope the pain will pass

and life will be better. If things didn't work out,

Ah! it’ll be our destiny's letter ! But I loved you with all my heart, I thought you are the one

whom I couldn’t live without. You are like my favourite song,

that I keep humming again and again. Someday I'll forget you,

but now let me cry in pain. Some day, when I think of you,

I would cry tears of pain, Those that won't drop down,

because they would be drained. One day I'll forget you,

when you are gone, my love. But how will I be able to console myself,

when I'll mourn for your love. Someday we'll move on, You'll forget me and life would go on. But I'll remember everything about you, and all that together we went through! Wish I could turn back time ,

and script a new silhouette for us, But heart of hearts I know,

the divine providence for us, was just so unjust!
