The older I get the more I see 

They are not smart 

But they are more experienced.

Words of them were always true 

I recognised them late 

As I tasted people, I knew they were right.


It’s funny, we don’t take things when said 

As we drag through it, we learn.

The colour appears magnificent to us

But the reality behind carries lessons for us.


Just like wild animals, we take everyone’s opinions 

That turns out the cause of our downfall.

The mates we thought would last forever

Weren’t even worthy of our presence anymore.
