Odyssey To The Land of Wonder.

By Hannah Bhullar

I want to bask in your glow like you’re the February sun.

I’ll float in your puddle of warmth like vermilion leaves in a placid Bourne.

Let me drink in your aura.

Scarlet.

Amber.

Pantone 116-1546.

Like blooming flowers of liquid nirvana that prickle your throat with each generous

gulp.

You taste like heaven.

Elixir of life.

Fountain of youth.

I wake up someplace else,

In another world where pain and anguish have never known me.

Where they have never grazed my skin

Or learnt my name.

In another place, far-far away from this vale of tears I have spent my years.

I tumble deep down the rabbit hole of your eyes.

Orbs of heaven.

Planets of bliss.

Plains of enlightenment.

Take me here and now as your bhakta.

Shards of light twist around me like ribbons of euphoria as I cascade.

They are a warm embrace.

Have I been here for a few seconds...

or

forever?

Time seems to dilate like your black, beckoning pupils when they first took me away.

But I know where they lead to,

I know where I’m going…

I’ve almost reached Wonderland.
