Just like that another Silver Birch was cut down
Soon, all the rosewood will be gone
The world would become barren and brown
Then, who would man count on?
These shrubs were always there when
Thou needed it the most
But you were ungrateful in the end
You came and cut it to keep you warm in frost
You never regretted your crime,
Never heard their silent cries
Without hesitating you cut that pine
And all the birds on it took to the skies
Did you ever think about the Neem,
Who gave you life?
Or the mango in the suns gleam?
Did you forget them in your spite?
No, they do not belong to you
Not killers like you
They are the forest’s/f
Of the animals and birds
If you did not stop spreading towns
And killing prawns
The world would become barren and brown
Then, who would you count on?

Well written 👍🏼
It’s the debt of our generation to preserve the nature for future generations.
Nice poem
The poem beautifully expresses the sadness of losing trees and criticizes those who exploit nature without considering the consequences. Its vivid imagery prompts us to reflect on our interconnectedness with the environment and the urgent need to protect Earth's biodiversity. It's a powerful reminder to take responsibility for preserving our planet. All the best 👍 Sejal Regards Sriya Jambukar
