My eyes gleam,
Like clear crystalline water,
And his reflection near,
My water lilies shiver.
He talks about love,
The river flows through me, into him,
I am a puddle, a potion, the sea-
He doesn’t know anything; he knows everything about me.
He likes my whimsy, perks up his smile,
My shire, my dew, my delight, all.
Falling into him like falling into an ocean,
An ocean to consume, run through in motion.
In the sheets of swallow,
Where he gobbles,
Ruins of my laughter,
The air that’s left in my lungs lifts, in bubbles,
We know a bit, a lot- enough for trouble.
