“Always the poet, never the poem”,

a phrase that is quite well-known,

but they don't know about your mind,

a realm full of fantasies and tortures combined.

O' mighty poet, the master of words,

you bring every emotion to life through your works.

Weaving and spinning the yarn,

to make sweaters which everyone will wear,

somehow and somewhere.

I give an ode to you,

for turning turmoils into mesmerizing artworks

and conveying ideas which go unheard.

O' mighty poet, keep typing, until the sand fills the hourglass,

because you make me feel not like a misfit, but a person worthy of life.

O mighty poet, don't ever let your ink run out,

for you give breath to life's symphony.
