Nyctophile

Funny right?

When you said you were nyctophile I found myself loving the dark. How I found solace in the shades of gray and black, And looking at the moon with your words echoing in my heart, That was when I realized I fell too hard.

Because it didn't take a moment for you change,

A glance at her daylight smile was enough to drive away the dark, And with the dark I was swept away too .

And now I see myself sitting in the dark,

Looking at the moon,

Feeling like home,

But still missing you.
